How to Play No Limit Holdem Poker

No limit Holdem is the most popular poker game. The object is to make the best 5 card hand.

Each player is dealt two cards. After you receive your two cards, you can bet or fold or check (as long as no one has made a bet). If someone has made a bet you can not check.

Five cards will be dealt in the center of the table. Using the cards in the center as well as the two cards in your hand, your goal is to make the best possible poker hand.

The "flop" is dealt first, which consists of three cards. After the "flop" is dealt players then make their bets. Next the "turn" or fourth card is dealt. Once again, players place bets. Lastly, the "river" or fifth card is dealt and players make their final bets on the hand. The player with the best five card poker hand wins. In the case of a tie, players split the "pot".

In No Limit Holdem there is no limit to how much can be bet.
