How is Blackjack Played?
Blackjack seems like a fairly easy game on the surface. The object is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over. You can take "hits" of cards until you wish to stop or you "bust" (go over 21 points).
An Ace counts as 11 points or 1 point. Face cards are 10 points, with all other cards at their face value.
In some cases you can "double down" if you want to only take one card. You also have to double your bet. This is usually done when you have 11 or 10 points. So if you get a face card, your hand would be a possible winner.
If you get a pair, say two aces, you most likely would want to "split". This would give you two hands, so your bet would also have to be doubled.
As you can see Blackjack is a simple game, but a lot of strategy is involved also. Try out Blackjack at an online casino.
